Bergamot and pink pepper give a bright, sparkling opening. Ginger, turmeric and saffron bring a warm, earthy, golden spice, in keeping with the One Thousand and One Nights theme. Red tea and tea add a dry, slightly smoky warmth, and papyrus a green, reedy smoke. The heart is a rich floral blend of Turkish rose, rose and jasmine, with iris for a cool powder. The base is smooth and warm, with sandalwood for creaminess, patchouli and elemi for earthy, resinous depth, and vanilla, amber and musk for a soft finish.
1001 is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits autumn and winter evenings and special occasions, for people who like spiced rose in an exotic, storytelling style.
