With five notes listed, the structure is clear. Pink pepper is the only bright element, giving the opening a short, rosy, slightly fizzy spice. Atlas cedar and cedar then take over, dry, clean and pencil-like, and they are the backbone of the scent from the first minutes through to the drydown. Leather adds a smooth, slightly smoky depth beneath the wood, and patchouli brings an earthy, dark dryness that keeps the whole thing from feeling thin.
Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection. Dry cedar and leather suit autumn and winter and work equally well for the office or the evening, and the fragrance is aimed at men who want woods without sweetness, fruit or obvious freshness getting in the way.
