Acuada

Acuada by Lova, released in 2024, is a compact spicy scent with a resinous, warm finish. Everyone who describes it calls it spicy, and about half also find it amber-like.

The composition is built from three notes. Nutmeg gives a dry, warm, slightly sweet spice at the front, the kind that smells of baking rather than heat. Saffron adds a honeyed, leathery depth with a faintly medicinal edge, which gives the scent its character. Peru balsam sits underneath with a soft, vanilla-like, balsamic sweetness that rounds the spices off and carries the drydown.

Acuada is worn by anyone. Its warmth suits autumn and winter and cooler evenings, and it is a good choice for someone who prefers simple, focused scents to complex ones and likes spice without a heavy fruit or floral layer. The three-note structure means it does not change much as it wears, which some will find reassuring and others plain.
