Strawberry gives the opening a bright, jammy fruitiness, and caramel turns it into something closer to a dessert. Heliotrope adds a soft, powdery, almond-like sweetness that keeps the sugar from feeling flat, while jasmine lends a touch of white-flower warmth. Patchouli in the base is what brings the woody, slightly earthy edge that stops it from being pure confectionery.
