Calabrian mandarin opens it with a sweet, juicy citrus that lightens the first minutes. The heart is heady white flowers: Indian tuberose, creamy, buttery and a little camphorous, paired with Egyptian jasmine, warm and slightly indolic, so the floral core is rich rather than fresh. What darkens it is tobacco, which adds a dry, honeyed, leafy depth, and suede, which gives a soft, powdery leather texture against the flowers. Patchouli in the base adds an earthy dryness that keeps the tuberose from becoming cloying.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The weight of tuberose and tobacco suggests evenings and cooler weather, and it suits people who enjoy big white florals and want one with a smoky, nocturnal edge.
