Éclat d'Arpège Sheer

Éclat d'Arpège Sheer is a light, musky floral from Lanvin, released in 2020 for women. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about half add musky, and a minority find it green, woody, amber or citrus, which fits a sheer, airy version of the original.

The notes come as a single list. Mandarin orange gives a soft citrus start, and pitahaya, the dragon fruit, adds a watery, faintly sweet freshness. The heart is a bouquet of spring and water flowers: water jasmine and jasmine for a clean, slightly sweet floral note, lily of the valley for a dewy green freshness, peony for a soft rosy touch, and lotus for an aquatic, green quality. The base of white musk, cedar and amber is soft and skin-like, with just enough wood and warmth to hold the flowers.
