Santal Bloom by Just Jack is a women's fragrance that puts wood before flowers. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, about half find it floral, and a quarter add spice.
The spice is the unusual part: cumin and carrot seeds give a warm, earthy, slightly savoury start that is distinctive rather than pretty. Ylang-ylang and jasmine follow with a creamy, heady white floral heart that softens the spice. The base is sandalwood, creamy and smooth, backed by agarwood for a dry, resinous depth and cedar for a clean, dry woodiness.
