Amore Mio Forever

Amore Mio Forever is a sweet, fruity fragrance from the French brand Jeanne Arthes, released in 2011 for women. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, most also find it citrusy, and a smaller group pick out floral, spicy, musky and ambery sides, so the picture is of a juicy fruit salad with a warm, soft edge.

Lemon and bergamot provide the sparkle, a clean citrus brightness that opens the scent up. Then comes the fruit in earnest: red apple, peach, blackcurrant and a general tropical sweetness, ripe and sunny rather than tart. Rose and jasmine add a light floral softness beneath the fruit, and a pinch of cinnamon warms the whole thing without making it spicy in any serious way.
