Aurantium Jasmine from the Japanese brand J-Scent, released in 2023, is a clean, musky floral built on jasmine and orange blossom. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, and most also notice musk.
Aurantium is the Latin name for the bitter orange tree, and its flowers feature in two forms. Neroli brings the fresh, green, slightly bitter side, and orange blossom the sweeter, honeyed one, together giving a bright, sunny freshness. Jasmine adds a radiant, slightly creamy and faintly indolic floral depth that fills out the heart. The base is soft and clean, with white musk and musk wrapping the flowers in a laundered, skin-close softness that becomes more noticeable as the scent settles.
