Puro

Puro, composed by Luca Gritti for Gritti in 2020, is a clean, slightly sweet floral. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, most add sweet and musky, and a third mention spice, green and citrus.

Lemon and petitgrain open it with a bitter-fresh citrus, apple adds a crisp, juicy sweetness, and a green accord gives the sharpness of cut stems. Pink pepper adds a rosy sparkle. The heart is a spring bouquet: lily of the valley, dewy and fresh, peony light and watery, magnolia lemony and creamy, and pelargonium, a scented geranium, bringing a rosy, herbal note. The base is soft and skin-like: ambrette, the plant-derived musk, with musk for a clean finish, tonka bean for a gentle sweetness and sandalwood for a smooth, milky wood.

It is worn by anyone. The fresh, musky-floral character suits spring and summer and daytime wear, and a person who likes clean, white-floral scents that feel like freshly washed linen rather than a bouquet in a vase.
