Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is the Argentine chapter of the travel line from the British house Gallivant, composed by Karine Chevallier and released in 2024. People describe it as gourmand, green and citrusy in equal measure, and about half also find it floral or leathery.

Citrus and petitgrain give the opening a bright, slightly bitter, leafy freshness, and grapes add a soft, juicy sweetness. Mate is the green heart, the herbal, slightly smoky, hay-like scent of the South American tea, and it is the note that gives the composition its sense of place. Floral notes soften the middle. Dulce de leche brings a creamy, caramelised sweetness underneath, and tonka bean extends it with a warm, almond-like roundness.
