Chocolate and dark chocolate are the centre, the first milky and sweet, the second bitter and cocoa-dry. Yogurt is the unusual note, giving a cool, tangy, slightly lactic edge that cuts the sweetness the way a lassi does. Rum adds a warm, boozy depth around the chocolate, while vanilla and tonka bean soften it into a creamy, almond-tinged base. Patchouli is the only wood listed and gives the drydown an earthy, cocoa-like dryness that pairs naturally with the chocolate.
