Apple, pineapple and plum give the opening a juicy, slightly syrupy sweetness that explains why everyone who has described it calls it gourmand. Bergamot cuts through with citrus, and lavender adds a clean, aromatic, slightly herbal note. Cardamom brings a warm, green spice in the heart. The base is dry and earthy: cedar and vetiver give a crisp, smoky wood, and musk softens the finish and keeps it close to the skin.
There are no wear reports yet on longevity or sillage. Sweet fruit over cedar and vetiver suits autumn evenings and going out, and the scent should appeal to a man who likes fruity sweetness with a dry, woody counterweight rather than pure sugar. It is sold in a 50 ml bottle.
