Citrus notes open it brightly, with ginger adding a warm, zesty lift. Lavender and clary sage then give the heart an aromatic, slightly herbal quality, geranium adds a rosy green sharpness, and tulip brings a soft, faintly green floral note that is rarely seen in a men's scent. The base is built on cedar and patchouli for a dry, earthy woodiness, and akigalawood, a patchouli-derived material, adds a spicy, slightly peppery wood that gives it some modern polish.
Its fresh citrus-and-herb top and dry wood base make it a daytime scent for most of the year, suited to the office and casual wear, and to men who like clean woody fragrances with a bit of spice.
