Black Guava is a woody floral from the Korean brand BORNTOSTANDOUT®, created in 2025 by Suzy Le Helley. Wood and flowers lead equally, with smaller groups noticing spice, sweetness, amber and citrus.
Guava and mandarin orange give a juicy, tropical start with a slightly musky fruit character. Cardamom adds a cool, aromatic spice. In the heart, rose, peony and geranium form a fresh, rosy bouquet, with geranium adding a green, slightly minty edge. The base turns dark and earthy: patchouli and cypriol, also called nagarmotha, bring a smoky, rooty depth, agarwood a dry, resinous oud, and amber a warm, rounded finish.
Black Guava is shared and suits anyone. The contrast between bright fruit and dark woods lets it work in daytime and evening, particularly in autumn and spring, and it should appeal to someone who enjoys modern oud-rose blends with a playful fruity twist.
