Velvet Tonka Extrait from BDK Parfums, an extrait composed by Alexandra Carlin in 2026, is a rich tonka gourmand with pistachio cream, leather and tobacco. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and a minority also notice spice, flowers, aromatic notes, amber and leather.
Cinnamon gives the opening a warm, sweet spice, and Cosmofruit, a fruity accord, a juicy, bright lift. Orange blossom adds a honeyed floral touch. The heart is creamy and indulgent: pistachio spread cream brings a nutty, buttery, slightly salty sweetness, and tonka bean its almond, hay and vanilla-like warmth.
