The Jewel of Night is a floral masculine with a strong woody side, from the British house Anfar London. It was released in 2022, composed by Ahmedullah Anfar, and about half of its wearers describe it as sweet and fresh at once, with resin and amber noticed by fewer.
The opening pairs watery notes with blackcurrant syrup, so it starts clean and cool but with a dark, sweet fruit running through it. The heart is a night-blooming bouquet: jasmine sambac, narcissus and rose, with cyclamen adding a dewy, slightly green freshness. Oud and patchouli then take over in the base, earthy and dry, while incense and benzoin add smoke and a soft resinous sweetness.
There are no wear reports yet on longevity or sillage. The combination of white flowers, oud and incense points to evenings and cooler weather, and to a man comfortable wearing a floral with depth. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
