Lemon, bergamot and Italian mandarin give a bright, zesty, sunny opening, and lily of the valley adds a fresh, dewy floral note alongside them. The heart turns softer: May rose brings a fresh, slightly green rose, Egyptian jasmine a warmer white-flower fullness, and pink pepper a light, rosy sparkle. The base of oakmoss and Ambroxan is dry and smooth, the oakmoss adding an earthy, slightly bitter greenness and the Ambroxan a soft, salty, ambergris-like warmth that helps the citrus last.
Limone di Sicilia is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. Lemon and fresh flowers are at their best in spring and summer and in daytime, and it should appeal to people who like citrus scents with more structure than a plain eau de cologne.
