Draconis

Draconis, created by Paolo Terenzi for the Italian house Tiziana Terenzi in 2019, is a citrus fragrance according to everyone who rates it, with about two thirds also calling it woody and ambered. A third find it spicy, floral or resinous.

Grapefruit, lemon and bergamot give a sharp, bitter-bright opening, and pepper adds a dry snap behind them. Geranium brings a slightly rosy, leafy green note into the heart. The base is where the weight sits: frankincense adds a resinous, smoky, incense-like depth, patchouli gives an earthy darkness, vetiver contributes a dry, rooty woodiness and amber wraps it in a soft, resinous warmth.

Draconis is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The citrus top makes it approachable for daytime and warmer weather, but the incense and amber beneath give it enough depth for evenings and cooler months as well. It should appeal to people who like a fresh opening that dries down into something smoky and warm.
