Yummy Pistachio Oud

Yummy Pistachio Oud from Sapil is a sweet floral gourmand worn by anyone, released in 2025. Everyone who has described it calls it gourmand, most find it floral, and smaller groups mention woody, spicy and citrus sides. Neither pistachio nor oud appears in the note list despite the name.

The notes are listed together and are numerous. Bergamot, pear and cardamom give a bright, juicy, lightly spiced opening; rose, jasmine, peony and lily of the valley form a fresh floral heart; and the base is where the dessert lives, with hazelnut, cocoa, cacao pod, rum, vanilla and tonka bean over cedar and sandalwood. Hazelnut and cocoa give a nutty, chocolatey warmth, rum a boozy sweetness, and the woods keep it from collapsing into pure sugar.

Longevity and sillage have not been reported. A hazelnut, cocoa and rose composition of this kind suits autumn and winter and the evening, and would appeal to anyone who likes nutty, chocolate-leaning gourmands. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
