Odori

Odori is a spicy, herbal woody scent from the Italian house Profumo di Firenze, released in 2018. Spicy and woody impressions are shared by everyone who describes it; about two thirds also call it green and aromatic, and a minority notice gourmand or fresh sides.

The opening is a kitchen garden: basil, clary sage, mint and tomato leaf give it a bright, green, slightly bitter freshness, with eucalyptus adding a cool lift. Cardamom, nutmeg and cumin then bring a warm, savoury spice, the cumin lending a faintly earthy, skin-like edge. Cedar and sandalwood form the woody base, patchouli adds depth, and vanilla softens the finish just enough to round off the herbs.

Odori is worn by anyone. Its green-spicy character suits spring and autumn and daytime wear, and it is a good choice for someone who finds sweet scents dull and wants something more savoury and unusual.
