Neroli Mediterraneo

Neroli Mediterraneo is above all a citrus scent, with a strong orange-blossom floral side and only light touches of spice, green, wood and musk. It comes from the Monaco house Perris Monte Carlo, was composed by Gian Luca Perris and was released in 2022.

The notes are not split into stages, so think of it as one bright accord. Sicilian mandarin, Calabrian bergamot and bitter orange give the sharp, sunny freshness; ginger and timur pepper add a faint tingle. Neroli, orange blossom and petitgrain bring the honeyed, slightly green smell of the orange tree in flower, while geranium keeps it from turning too sweet. Underneath, iris adds a cool powdery softness and cedar and musk give it something to settle on.

It is worn by anyone. A citrus-and-neroli profile of this kind usually suits warm weather and daytime, and reads as clean and well-groomed rather than loud. Community reports on longevity and sillage are not yet available.
