Monocline 02 is a single-material scent from Maison Alhambra, released in 2022 and worn by anyone. The only listed note is ambroxan, and everyone who describes it calls it amber, which is the material speaking for itself.

Ambroxan is a synthetic that recreates the warm, mineral, slightly salty side of ambergris. On skin it reads as a soft, dry, radiant warmth with a faintly woody, musky edge and no sweetness, closer to warm skin and sun-dried driftwood than to the vanilla-heavy ambers most people know. There is no opening, heart or base; it simply sits at one volume and slowly fades, and wearers often notice it less than the people around them do.

There are no community reports yet on how long it lasts or how far it projects. Ambroxan alone is usually worn as a minimal skin scent or layered under other fragrances to add warmth and lift, in any season and at any time of day.
