Infinite Definitive

Infinite Definitive from Laurent Mazzone Parfums, released in 2019 and worn by anyone, is unusual in that everyone who describes it calls it sweet, green, floral and ambery at once. It is a short, deliberately simple formula.

It opens with black currant and juniper berries, a tart, slightly resinous fruit start with a gin-like bite. The heart pairs galbanum with gardenia: galbanum brings a sharp, bitter green note like snapped stems, while gardenia adds a creamy white floral sweetness. The base is a single accord of amber, which gives a warm, resinous, faintly sweet glow for the fruit and flowers to rest on.
