Citron Caviar

Citron Caviar from Laurent Mazzone Parfums, released in 2021, is a bright floral citrus. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about three quarters find it citrusy, and a minority add wood, musk, herbs and amber. It is worn by anyone.

Lemon, lime and orange give a sharp, zesty opening, cooled by mint and sharpened by geranium, which adds a green, slightly rosy bite. Orange blossom and jasmine make the heart, sunny and white rather than heavy. Iris lends a touch of powder. In the base, musk and amber soften the citrus into a warm, clean skin scent, with patchouli providing a little earthy contrast.

This is a warm-weather fragrance by nature, suited to daytime, bright mornings and summer evenings. It should appeal to anyone who likes a citrus cologne but wants more flowers and a longer, warmer finish than a classic eau fraiche gives.
