Vanilla Freesia

Vanilla Freesia by the Greek brand Korres, released in 2020, is a sweet floral with a fruity, tea-tinged lightness. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet and floral, and about half also find it green, woody, musky or citrusy.

The notes are listed without stages. Bergamot, peach and lychee open bright and juicy, the lychee adding a delicate, slightly rosy fruitiness. The heart is freesia and jasmine, the freesia fresh and peppery-green, the jasmine fuller, with tea adding a dry, calm note that keeps the sweetness in check. The base is vanilla, soft and warm, over patchouli and musk, which give it a little earthy grounding.
