Noir

Noir by Jenny Glow is a floral scent at heart, and about half of those who have described it also find it sweet, woody and citrusy, with musk and resin mentioned by a minority. No release year or perfumer is recorded, and it is worn by anyone.

It opens with Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit, a bright, slightly bitter citrus start. The heart is a full bouquet of rose, narcissus, jasmine and rose geranium, the narcissus giving a green, almost hay-like edge and the geranium a leafy sharpness that keeps the roses from being too sweet. The base combines tonka bean, frankincense, white musk, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla, so the drydown is warm and softly sweet with a thread of cool, churchy smoke running through it.

No community data on longevity, sillage or season exists yet. The citrus opening and warm resinous base make it adaptable across seasons, with the incense giving it an evening lean. It is sold in a 30 ml bottle.
