It opens briefly with pear and bergamot, a juicy, slightly fresh start that soon gives way to the heart. There, tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine sambac form a creamy, heady bouquet, the kind of white flowers that feel warm rather than airy. The base is where the contrast comes in: patchouli brings a dark, earthy edge, vetiver keeps it dry, ambroxan adds a clean, mineral glow and vanilla rounds everything into a soft sweetness.
