YES I AM THE KING by Geparlys Parfums, released in 2020, is a fresh, fruity citrus woody scent for men. Citrus is the word everyone uses; about two thirds also call it woody, and a third find it gourmand, floral, resinous or aromatic.
Bergamot, grapefruit and orange open it with bright, juicy zest, and apple adds a crisp, sweet fruitiness. The heart is aromatic and a little resinous: lavender for a clean, herbal lift, geranium for a rosy, slightly minty green and elemi for a lemony, peppery resin. The base is dry and grounded: vetiver for a rooty earthiness, patchouli for a dark depth, musk for a soft finish and ambergris for a salty, mineral warmth that helps it last.
