White Amber

White Amber by Creed, composed by Olivier Creed and released in 2017, is a sweet amber. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and about half also find it woody, floral, resinous or ambery, which together describe a soft, warm, sweet scent rather than a sharp one.

Only a handful of notes are listed. Fruity notes give a juicy, sweet opening without any one fruit being named. Jasmine adds a creamy white-floral heart. The base carries the weight: benzoin brings a smooth, vanilla-like resin, amber a warm, slightly powdery sweetness, and sandalwood a milky, soft woodiness that keeps the whole thing rounded and unhurried.

White Amber is a shared fragrance from the French house, worn by anyone.
