Central Park West

Central Park West is a floral scent with small spicy, green, woody and musky touches. Bond No 9 released it in 2012, and the perfumer is Laurent Le Guernec.

The flowers are the point and they are varied: linden blossom gives a honeyed, slightly green sweetness, narcissus a rich, hay-like floral, and gardenia and jasmine a creamy white-flower warmth. Ylang-ylang adds a soft, slightly banana-like richness, and orris root a cool powder. Pepper gives a dry sparkle at the start. The base is oak and oakmoss with vetiver and musk, so the drydown is earthy and dry, like a park after rain, rather than sweet.
