Old Money

Old Money is a sweet, powdery, mineral scent from Armaf, released in 2026 and marketed for men. Gourmand and musky are the two words everyone uses for it, and about half also find it spicy, woody or floral, with citrus mentioned by a quarter.

Bergamot and pear give the opening a brief, juicy brightness, with black pepper and lavender adding a sharp heat and a clean, herbal edge. The heart is iris, Tuscan iris and powdery notes, cool, dusty and slightly earthy, set against cocoa, coffee and praline for a bitter, roasted, nutty sweetness and liquorice for a dark, aniseed-tinged depth. The base is where the oddness lives: concrete, lava and mineral notes give a dry, stony, slightly dusty quality, smoke a faint burnt edge, and ambrette, musk and a skin note a soft, warm, human finish, with cedar and vetiver adding dry woods.
