Saffron and jasmine open it, a warm, leathery, slightly medicinal spice next to a heady white flower, which gives the first minutes their richness. The heart is ambergris and amberwood, a salty, mineral, skin-like warmth paired with a dry, radiant wood. The base is cedar and fir resin, a pencil-shaving dryness and a sticky, green, slightly sweet balsam that keeps the drydown from turning soft.
Performance is one of its main points: most wearers find it long lasting and more than a fifth call it near permanent, and the sillage is strong for the great majority.
