Mandarin orange and Italian mandarin give a juicy, bright opening, with cardamom adding a cool spice and saffron a warm, golden, leathery note. The heart is built on osmanthus and Chinese osmanthus, an apricot-like, slightly leathery flower, alongside violet for a soft powder and plum for a dark, jammy fruit. Immortelle and sugar add a honeyed, caramelised sweetness. The base is warm and textured, with leather for smoothness, oakmoss and patchouli for an earthy depth, and amber and musk for a warm glow.
Great Lord is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits autumn and winter, evenings and smart occasions, for people who like fruity, leathery osmanthus scents.
