The opening pours amaretto and rum over black currant and bergamot, an almond-liqueur sweetness with a fruity, tart sparkle and a little citrus. In the heart, amber, patchouli and sandalwood bring warmth, earthiness and a creamy woody body. The base is rich and resinous: labdanum adds a dark, leathery depth, Siam benzoin a soft balsamic sweetness and vanilla a smooth, enveloping finish.
