Splendida

Splendida from the Italian house Sergio Tacchini, released in 2022, is a sweet, peachy floral for women. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand; most also find it floral, and a minority pick up wood and citrus.

Bergamot, white peach and peach open it juicy, soft and slightly velvety. The heart is jasmine and peony, warm and rosy in turn, with iris adding a cool, powdery touch. The base is where the gourmand side shows: honey brings a thick, golden sweetness, almond a marzipan smoothness, tonka bean a vanilla-like warmth and cedar a dry wood that keeps the whole thing from becoming cloying.

It is marketed as feminine and suits mild days and cooler evenings, for someone who likes peach and honey with almond and a powdery iris heart.
