Tangerine gives the opening a sweet, juicy brightness, and black pepper, ginger and coriander follow with a sharp, zesty, slightly lemony spice. Watery notes add a cool, transparent freshness that keeps the spice from feeling heavy. Galbanum brings a sharp, sappy greenness. The heart is jasmine, warm and slightly sweet, softened by orris root, which adds a cool, powdery, suede-like texture. Vetiver gives the base a rooty, earthy woodiness, and musk a soft, clean, skin-like finish.
