Ivorysky

Ivorysky is a pared-back woody scent from the French house Perroy, released in 2024, created by Arnaud Poulain and worn by anyone. Woody is how everyone describes it, and about half also call it citrusy, which fits a composition built on only three notes.

Bergamot opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus freshness, and because there is nothing else at the top it reads clean and uncomplicated. Sandalwood then takes over as the heart of the scent, smooth, creamy and faintly milky, the kind of wood that feels soft rather than sharp. Vetiver sits beneath it with a dry, smoky, rooty character, adding the earthiness and grip that keep the sandalwood from becoming too gentle. The two woods together are what you are left with, a quiet, balanced blend of cream and smoke.

It is an easy scent for daily wear in almost any season, for anyone who likes woods kept simple and clean and would rather not have fruit or sweetness in the way.
