Coconut, raspberry and passionfruit give a juicy, tropical, slightly tart opening. Sugar and sugar cane add a raw, caramel-like sweetness that runs through the scent. Saffron brings a warm, golden, leathery spice. The base turns richer and darker: agarwood, or oud, gives a dry, smoky wood, leather a smooth, supple texture, and vanilla and tonka bean a creamy, almond-like sweetness.
Nerone is shared and can be worn by anyone. Named after the Roman emperor, it is bold and indulgent, best suited to autumn and winter evenings, parties and special occasions. It should appeal to people who like sweet, fruity gourmands with an oud and leather base for some weight.
