Absinthe gives the start a herbal, slightly bitter lift, softened by a touch of strawberry and warmed by cinnamon. Rose and jasmine then bring a full floral heart. The base is the richest part: frankincense adds smoky, balsamic sweetness, hay a dry, sun-warmed note, and civet an animalic, skin-like depth over a woody, vanilla-tinged foundation.
It is worn by anyone, and its incense-and-amber character points towards autumn and winter, evenings and quieter occasions where a complex, slightly vintage-feeling scent is appreciated.
