Etheria

Etheria is a 2024 release from the Italian brand Once, aimed at women. It is sweet and gourmand at heart, with woods and flowers in strong support, plus amber, citrus and a little musk.

Bergamot and mandarin orange open it with a sparkling citrus freshness, while nashi pear adds a crisp, watery, juicy sweetness and black currant a slightly tart, fruity edge. The heart is rosy and lush: Turkish rose and rose bring a rich, velvety petal note, and gardenia a creamy, buttery white floral. The base is warm and deep: agarwood, or oud, gives a dark, smoky woodiness, incense a resinous whisper of smoke, and vanilla and tonka bean a creamy, almondy sweetness, rounded off by amber and musk.
