Aldehydes give a bright, clean, slightly metallic sparkle at the start. Water notes add a cool, transparent freshness, and grass a green, freshly cut note. The heart is clean and floral: lily of the valley brings a dewy, soapy brightness and freesia a fresh, peppery bloom. The base is dry and slightly dark, with guaiac wood for a soft smoke, vetiver for an earthy root, patchouli for depth, myrrh for a bitter, balsamic resin, ambroxan for a mineral-amber glow and musk for a clean finish.
It is shared and can be worn by anyone. Parasite suits spring and autumn, daytime and the office, and should appeal to people who like clean, watery woody scents with a slightly unsettling, dark edge.
