Melody

Melody is a soft, aromatic woody scent from the British house Miller Harris, released in 2025, composed by Sidonie Lancesseur and worn by anyone. Woody is how everyone describes it, most also find it sweet, musky, floral and aromatic, and a third notice citrus, which fits a balanced, gently layered composition.

Bergamot opens it with a bright citrus, and black currant adds a tart, slightly green sharpness, with basil and lavender bringing a herbal, peppery, slightly soapy freshness that gives the start its aromatic character. The heart is Damask rose, warm and slightly honeyed, set against tea, dry and faintly tannic, and green notes that keep the rose leafy rather than lush. The base is where the softness gathers: cedar and cashmere wood give a dry and a velvety wood, vanilla a gentle, creamy sweetness, and white musk and musk a clean, cottony, skin-like finish that holds everything close.
