The opening is fresh and a little herbal: violet leaf and eucalyptus for a green, slightly camphorous sharpness, freesia and peony for a soft, dewy floral lift. The heart is a dense white bouquet, with tuberose, jasmine and jasmine sambac for a creamy, heady richness, ylang-ylang for a tropical sweetness, orange blossom for a honeyed freshness, hawthorn for a sweet, slightly almond-like note and palmarosa for a rosy, grassy edge. The base is heliotrope for powder, vanilla and benzoin for a soft, resinous sweetness, and hay and flax for a dry, natural, sun-warmed finish.
It reads as a generous, romantic fragrance for spring and summer, suited to someone who loves white flowers and wants them framed by green leaves and dry hay rather than sugar.
