Excentum from LPDO, released in 2023, is a classic floral in a simple three-part structure. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, and a third each add woody, amber and citrus.

The opening is citrus and green notes, bright and faintly sharp, the way cut stems and lemon peel smell together. The heart is a traditional bouquet: lily of the valley gives a dewy, fresh, slightly green floral note, rose adds body and a honeyed sweetness, and jasmine brings a creamier, warmer depth. The base is woody notes and amber, a dry wood with a touch of resinous warmth, which holds the flowers on the skin without changing their character.

It is worn by anyone. The clean, conventional floral style suits spring and summer and daytime wear, for work or everyday use, and a person who wants a straightforward, pretty floral without fruit, sugar or heavy musk. Those after something unusual will find the name promises more eccentricity than the scent delivers.
