Mandarino by Laboratorio Olfattivo, composed by Jean-Claude Ellena in 2020, is a citrus fragrance with a sweet, musky softness. It is minimalist and transparent, built on just three notes.
The opening is mandarin, juicy, sweet and sunny, more rounded than lemon or grapefruit. In the heart, black currant adds a tart, slightly green berry tang that gives the citrus more depth and a gentle sweetness. The base of white musk is clean and soft, giving the fruit a smooth, skin-like finish.
As is typical for citrus scents, longevity is reported as moderate by many and weak by over a third, and the sillage is moderate or intimate.
