Douce Insomnie is a soft, powdery floral with a milky coffee twist, released by the French house L'Atelier Parfum in 2021 and composed by Alexis Dadier. It is worn by anyone.

Pink pepper and orange blossom open it, the first lightly spiced and rosy, the second honeyed and luminous. Jasmine and iris form the heart, the jasmine smooth and sweet, the iris cool and powdery, with heliotrope adding its almond-and-vanilla softness. The unusual touch is cappuccino, which brings a creamy, lightly roasted coffee warmth to the base without turning the scent into a dessert. Sandalwood and vanilla close it, creamy and smooth.

It suits autumn and winter and evening or quiet, cosy daytime wear. Anyone who likes powdery florals with a gourmand undertone should find it comfortable.
