Bergamot and lime give the opening a sharp, zesty freshness, and apple adds a crisp, slightly sweet fruitiness that softens the citrus and hints at the sweetness to come. Orange blossom brings a soft, honeyed floral touch to the heart, the one flower in the composition. The base is where the gold of the name sits: vanilla adds a warm, smooth sweetness, teak wood a dry, rich, slightly smoky woodiness that keeps the vanilla in check, patchouli an earthy depth, and musk a clean, skin-like finish that carries it all.
Citrus and apple over vanilla and teak is a friendly, easy-going combination, fresh enough for daytime in spring and autumn and warm enough at the base to see out a cool evening.
