Leather and incense open together, giving a smoky, dark and slightly dry start. The heart brings patchouli, which adds an earthy, deep warmth, and myrrh, which gives a balsamic, slightly bitter resin. In the base, cedar provides a dry, clean wood, and davana a boozy, fruity, almost apricot-like sweetness that softens the darker notes.
