Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, released by Hermès in 2005 and composed by Jean-Claude Ellena, is a green, fruity floral. Everyone describes it as floral, about half as citrusy, and a minority as sweet, green, musky and amber.

It opens with green mango, giving a tart, unripe and slightly resinous fruitiness, alongside grapefruit for citrus zest and tomato and carrot for an unusual green, earthy and leafy tone. The heart is fresh and watery, as lotus and bulrush bring a cool, aquatic greenness, while peony, orange and hyacinth add a soft, slightly sweet floral lift. The base is light and refined, with iris adding a powdery touch, cinnamon a hint of warmth, and labdanum, musk and incense a soft, resinous finish.

Most wearers report moderate longevity, some weak, and a moderate to intimate trail. It is voted mostly for summer and spring and overwhelmingly for daytime, suiting hot days and holidays. It is worn by anyone.
